Outlander is back and so are we for this final installment of What the Hype?! We’re diving into the first episodes of Season 8 and unpacking everything that’s changed while Jamie and Claire were away—from their return to the Ridge to taking young Fanny under their wing and learning the heartbreaking story of how she and Jane ended up at the brothel. Meanwhile Ian and Rachel have been busy—hello new house and VERY pregnant Rachel—and the Ridge itself has evolved with a new trading post run by Hiram Crombie and Captain Cunningham. Roger, Bree, and the kids are suddenly back from the future (did we see that coming?), Rob Cameron is still missing in action, and Bree’s future-history books—including one written by Frank—drop a bombshell about when and how Jamie is supposed to die during the coming Revolutionary War. Needless to say… we have thoughts. 👀🔥
